Through his own participation in teenage sports, he had opportunity to experience God answering prayer for provision and healing. After his conversion to Christ in the 1990’s, he sought the Lord for purpose and heard the Lord say in 2004, that He would create a way for Johnson to share the Gospel through sports. From that time, Blessing founded ROYAL-GOLD GLOBAL SPORTS OUTREACH. Since the commencement of the ministry, over 200 young boys have become ministers of the gospel through the sports ministry work, and over seven are now pastors in a local assembly. He also ministers to children in his church. Currently, he is clearing ground for a new field and can use funds for that project.
